Both professions specialize in the assessment, treatment, and prevention of foot disorders, offering comprehensive nail and skin care, performing nail and soft tissue surgeries under local anesthesia, and prescribing and fitting patients with custom foot orthotics, ankle-foot orthoses, and orthopedic footwear. Patients can expect excellent, safe care from either an Ontario Registered Chiropodist or a Podiatrist.
